Is Philippine's Manny Pacquiao exploited by Arum or Just Plain Stupid? |
Travel Info Every Filipino is a boxing sport fan because of him, lately there is news that he will fight Humberto Soto. Why? Just because Soto defeated his lousy brother? Why can't he request to box MANUEL MARQUEZ who has the WBC belt and not some unknown mexican? No Glory if he wins over Soto. I think it's stupid. Travel Tips manny? stupids? hmmmmmmmmm Others Most boxers are stupid..because all of them did not finished college or even high school..thats why the promoters take advantage of them.. This does not apply to Manny only, but also to Barrera, Morales, Tyson, etc...they are risking their life in the ring, but the promoters earn more..maybe 10 times more on what they earn.. To allan y,,i (was) a big fan of Manny Pacman..he was not cheated..its just the people of Gensan are intelligent.. who are you calling stupid? manny pacquiao is intelligent and in fact he finished four years of high school in just a months time. he ran as congressman of our district but was unfortunately cheated. he is now going to college to take up bachelor of science in business administration. i have strong faith in him that he could finish it in three weeks and a summa c-u-m laude to boot. hmmmmp... I'm not a fan of a boxing sport, but i admired Manny Pacquiao because of the Glory that he brought to our Country. But he's been acting stupid and full of pride-allowing politician to use him, and i hate it. Yeah, your right. He was not cheated it just that the people of Gensan doesn't want Pacman to represent them in the congress. well i guess Congresswoman Darlene Antonino-Custodio deserves it. during the last mid-term elections in the philippines, pacquiao was manipulated by politicians into running for office. that way, they made him pay for their own candidacy too. pacquiao reportely lost about 2 million united states dollars and he needs to recover that amount real bad. if he fights humberto soto, win or lose, he is guaranteed 3 million dollars. I'm not going to call him stupid but i think he is a little slow and gullible. the fame & wealth are getting in his head and he thinks he can do anything. he is being used by the wrong people and surrounded by it and he doesn't even know it. What he said is very Filipino and would really make his fans happy. This is also why, for many years, action movies were a hit because of inapi-naghiganti-nagwagi mentality. Fans just love the idea of an ordinary person avenging for the honor of his family. I don't agree with him though because boxing is all about sportsmanship and discipline. It's not about vengeance. But that is what Pacquiao's fans love about him. |
