Are we for KEEPS or for SHOW?

Many foreigners like exotic looking beauties.
Foreigner, they always say that they like our skin color , how we value family, how we show loyalty and and most importantly is that we know how to show true love.
So the question is are they marrying Pilipinos for show or for keeps.

im from hawaii and just married my girlfriend from maasin,southern leyte. everything you just described is true about beautiful girls from the phils. but i married her only because i love her with all my heart. she is tan, a wonderful cook. her family is so very important to her. but she is so much more than just all that. she is my best friend, very caring and loving to me. in my eyes, she is the most beautiful girl in the whole world. i must admit, if a man wants to find a perfect woman to marry....try the phils. take ya time and be very sure you are looking for a permanant relationship. do not hurt these girls they are so special think of them as angels from heaven. i know my wife is.....aloha

mainly for show, because people from that part of the world "age" very rapidly, and they get divorced by about 30 - do not mean to offend.
i plan to marry a filipina and i say FOR KEEPS!!! she is the most polite, caring and understanding woman i have ever met. the beautiful skin, love of family and sexy body are just a bonus!!
Can't speak for ever one, but I married my wife because we become best friends and after a year we become lovers and then we got married, we plan on enjoying each other for life and I have other friends from the states that live here in the RP that also feel the same as we do.

Some of both. There are many older foreigners who want a young attractive woman to boost their ego since they can't get a woman of that caliber in their home country unless they are rich. In the Philippines it's fairly easy to get a "trophy wife" even if you don't have much money ($1000 a month is wealthy to most Filipinos). Usually these are easy to spot since the wife is much younger than the husband and she goes overboard trying to show off her "wealth" (tons of jewelry, make-up, hair treatments, new cell phones, etc). They also generally hire someone to take care of the chores and children. Then there are the "keepers" who are usually closer in age to the husband, less flashy clothing/make-up, don't try to show off their possessions, and take care of their children better.
