Have you heard of kulangot ng intsik in baguio? |
Travel Info What exactly is it made of? And why did they give it such a gross name? Travel Tips despite the gross name (i must admit!) it's actually really good. i guess they called it that because it looks like it (ewww..) but it's slightly brownish-reddish in color. its real sticky and sweet, and i really like it. i don't understand why they put it in that little coconut husk looking thing. I think it's made of sweetened coconut juice and they probably just keep stirring it to achieve that thick texture. you should try it! =) Others I have already eaten the said delicacy because my officemate from Ilocos usually make it as a "pasalubong" to us every time he comes back from the province. It is packed in a cellophane which is about 2 inches in diameter. As my friends told us it is made from a "malagkit". It is delicious and you'll enjoy eating it! Yeah and when I first heard of it I wondered how many chinamen worked in the factories that made them. i've never heard of that, what i know is " sundot kulangot" hahaha!!! you must taste "urmot ti taga buguey" you wont regret it!!!!!! i heard of it and i eaten one and it taste like super sweet coconut and i like it. it is covered with small coconut husk |
