Which is a more prestigious institution - DAP or NEDA? |
Travel Info DAP - Development Academy of the Philippines NEDA - National Economic & Development Authority If you had a choice, which one would you rather work for? Travel Tips Contrary to popular notion, DAP is much more than a school. In fact, it only offers one course - Masters of Public Management - a very recent addition to its wide array of services. It does offer training courses in systems development, career advancement, etc. NEDA is, of course, exactly what the other answerers have already said. Between the two, I'd rather work again in DAP. Which one is more prestigious? I'd say, both are equally prestigious government entities - it's like being back in Diliman...so many UP graduates in DAP and in NEDA.i don't know the mandate of both government agencies but i think dap is a school that provides post-graduate distance-learning courses to government employees. neda is an agency that collects, tabulates and interprets economic data of our country. i would prefer to work for dap because i love to work in the academic field. Its two different agency..DAP , as far as I know is a school.. NEDA on the other hand is one of the most "intelligent' branch of government...imagine their chairman saying on national TV that the Philippine economy is growing..i think he is the same guy who advised Gloria to say on national TV that a Filipino can live decently on a budget of 45 pesos a day..based on their computation. Btw, officers of NEDA have masters and doctorate degree in economics.. If I were you, I'd go for DAP..its in Tagaytay , I think. i would go for neda because they point the direction of where the philippines should be going. |
