I have a 14-hour layover in Manila, any suggestions? |

You may want to visit Intramuros and get a change of transportation - a horse-drawn carriage. At night time, you may want to check out restaurants that serve Filipino or Asian cuisine, spend time at a cozy music bar afterwards. Watch out for sly cab drivers. And don't talk to strangers especially those coming to share a table with you. And importantly, be sure to dash back to the airport three hours before your flight. Have tons of fun! Others All major airports, including Manila, do have storage facilities for passengers. As for spending time, it is advisable to browse around the airport till 8 p.m. after which it is better to stay within the airport. Suggest you check into a hotel at the airport and rest! I suggest you get a decent hotel room and rest for at least 5 hours. And then go check the biggest mall in asia "MALL OF ASIA" If I was you I would just stay in the airport, and let the time pass. Manila is a **** hole 14 hour layover? Go find yourself a young pinay hooker! She will love you loooong time!......... for the right price !!!! ahh there's no choice but to carry them! Malls where you can store your suitcase (look into baggage counter area) is open only from 9 am to 10pm. Stay in the airport and drink! There is no place to walk to from the airport, you would have to take a cab (not expensive at all) but Manila is not a place you can see in a hurry. |
