Scotland to Phoenix? |
Travel Info I'm 14 and just a year ago i moved from Prestwick, Scotland to Glendale, Phoenix.....it's been really hard and i was just wondering if anybody else has moved that far from home...and how they got used 2 it and made frineds??!! thanks :D Travel Tips I actually moved to Edinburgh for a year, great town. It's a little harder since you're younger and can't just go to the local and meet people. I would say join some clubs or sports groups if you are into that. Plenty around with YMCA, YCOA, etc. Life is one big adventure so that is how you have to look at it. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Be the one that says hello first. I'm sure your accent will intrigue most people so they will want to keep on talking. That's the best way I know to meet new friends. Don't stress about what people Might think, if they are that way who wants them as friends anyway. Life is too short to build regrets about the chances you never took. Others Glendale s*cks come to the east side like mesa, gilbert, chandler, tempe, or scottsdale. Well your young so i'm sure you can't tell your parents to move but I lived in glendale for a year and i hated every minute of it. All it takes is to make one or two friends and you will get to know there friends |
