i plan to move to tucson az as soon as my house is sold and i need to now the parts of tucson to stay away from and if there is a web site that i can beef up on all the info about tucson. thank you

The south side is considered the "dangerous" side. The far east side and the foothills (the northwest-Marana) side are considered safer. Central is where UofA is and is medium safe. The houses there vary depending on the neighboorhood---most are rented to students and ergo are less pretty.

Most families that can afford it, move to the foothills. If you cannot, look into the east side, but you will have a longer commute.

There is no east/west freeway so traffic heading that direction is a nightmare!
