What can I take my family to do around Phoenix, AZ? |
Travel Info In May, I am taking my family, which consists of my wife and my 3 yr old boy on vacation to Phoenix AZ. Not only have I been but used to live there over 20 yrs ago. I used to go back every year but haven't in about 7 yrs. Just being there will make me happy as I love the climate and look out there. But what do I take my family to do? We are driving there from Ohio and staying near some family in Gilbert. My wife and son have never been anywhere but neighboring states to Ohio, so they are excited but I would like to show them the time of their lives. HELP? Travel Tips Take the I-40 into AZ and stop at Meteor Crater, Grand Canyon and other Northern Arizona sites on the way in. While in Phoenix, go to the zoo in the early morning, there are frequently hands on animal areas and keeper talks. Rent a boat at Tempe Town Lake, visit the Science center. Enjoy!
