Are there any plans to bring a Six Flags to Phoenix or Anywhere in AZ? |
Travel Info Are there any plans to bring a Six Flags to Phoenix or Anywhere in AZ? Travel Tips Nope... in fact, I don't think they are even planning on expanding at the moment. Others Not that I know of... ive heard this rumor on and off for like 5 years. they need to. castles and coasters isnt cutting it. LOL! I heard through a friend that has property out by Tonapah that Six Flags is trying to buy property. I've also heard that they've looked toward Anthem. In conferring with the Phoenix planning and zoning commission, there has not been an application for such a venue. The most likely place would be on one of the Indian reservations because they could offer the most incentives like tax breaks and cheaper land. It might be near an existing casino. They also have no height or zoning restrictions. 30 yrs in Phoenix That rumor has been floating around for years. I've heard every where from Tonapah- my dad lives there- all way to Sierra Vista. As of yet, there are no plans for one, we all have to drive to L.A. and go to Magic Mountain! |
