Photo radar in phoenix Arizona? |
Travel Info Does anyone know where I can find a list of the traffic lights that have photo radar. Also, I have heard there are cameras that clock your speed on the freeways. Does anyone know where I can find information on this? Travel Tips I'm not sure where you can find information, but the city of Scottsdale has many intersections under video surveillance and cameras posted around the city as well. The 101 loop has cameras in the Scottsdale portion of the freeway. I'm not sure of other municipalities in the Phoenix metro area that use the camera radar, but they are always posted as you approach. Others The other answer covered most of this I think its a secret . There are a few sidestreet intersections with the photo radar... I know for sure that the intersection of 19th Ave & Northern has one... there are signs posted about 100 ft from the light. I know there's a few more in Phoenix... but I can't recall where. I know Scottsdale's sidestreets have the photo as well... You've got two pretty good answers to start with. Scottsdale and Paradise Valley both have several roving vans they set up at different locations with photo equipment . Tatum just south of Mockingbird is a common spot and Cactus between 68th St and 72nd St. Another location is eastbound Lincoln east of 36th St. and before you reach 44th. The intersection cameras are mostly for red light viloations. |
