Travel Info low crime suburb of a decent sized city good college/pro sports great affordable golfing sunny weather all year long-major... good quality of life friendly people... good school with good sports programs.. Travel Tips Many suburbs North/ northeast of Dallas are booming right now. The weather is definitely sunny the majority of the time. Dallas Mavs, Dallas Stars, Byron Nelson, Dallas Desparados. Tons of golfers and friendly people. Only Con I can think of is your college sports. There aren't any major big 12 schools with out a lengthy drive. As far as public schools (k-12) and sports.... Texas HS football is a BIG DEAL and funds are usually spent to develop the athletic program. Personally, I love the Carrollton/Frisco area.... |
