Travel Info
I'm thinking of moving near phoenix what would be a good town to move to that's close to it?

Travel Tips
Well, there are many little towns scattered all around Phoenix. I would suggest that you stay out of Mesa but other than that there are many depending on what type of life style you have and want. Tempe has a man made lake now and some very nice housing but it is also a college town. Further out we have Queen Creek and Chandler and they are very nice newer and growing cities. West of Phx we have Peoria,Goodyear, Buckeye and Surprise. All of these towns are growing in leaps and bounds right now too. We also have a town called Anthem. Very new community with nice housing.
I do not know why anyone would want to move here though. It is always hot, we have already reached 106 this year, too hot to do much outdoors, we have no real things to do here. We have a science museum downtown, a basketball and baseball stadium, a football stadium in Peoria. So, if you like sports you are ok. The traffic is horrible, the streets worse. We have almost 300 people a day moving here so the population continues to grow constantly but the roads do not. Crime is bad, auto insurance is one of the highest in the nation due to the border being so close and there are a lot of auto thefts and non insured illegals driving and getting into accidents.
I certainly wish you the best of luck in your move but don't say you weren't warned!! I have lived here all of my life and cannot wait to get away from it.

why not just move to phoenix? you can't get any closer to phoenix than phoenix.......
YOU HAVE TO CHECK OUT CHANDLER. chandler is an awesome suburb of pheonix , ive lived there many years and also plenty other places in the usa. i havent found a better place than chandler. its very nice close to everything , look into it.
I lived in Scottsdale for 6 years, absolutely loved it!!! My family lives in Surprise and Goodyear. Surprise is mostly new, alot has gone up there in the past 10 years. New schools as well.
Its all about litchfield park. you ll have everything around you. were are even getting Arizona's largest mall next year. plus the cardinals and coyotes stadiums are close by. worth looking into.
I lived in Arizona for three years due to a job transfer. That's three years of my life I'll never get back.
Surprise, Goodyear, Avondale or Litchfield Park are the best suburbs of Phx. Very clean and very low crime with a lot of growth without all the bad traffic of Chandler or Mesa (East valley)
