My friend is coming to visit me....?

in Phoenix next Monday through Wednesday. She is from New Jersey and has never been to AZ, or even the west side for that matter. Any ideas of what she can do during the day while I have to work?

if she likes to shop there is the arizona mills mall in tempe (priest/baseline)..its an outlet mall with a movie and imax theaters. or downtown tempe ...the tempe town lake...she can rent a paddle boat and get some sun or just read a book at the park or bike ride and then stop at starbucks for cold frap. if you go to scottsdale you have to go to old town, there she could look at a lot of native american art that she may have never seen before in jersey. i'm from philly so i'm sure she's never seen anything like it. there is also the fashion square mall in scottsdale..just be willing to spend a lot there. hmm if she likes to work out she could enjoy the trails at south mountain..thats a great work out and fun to see the az desert and plants(just make sure she takes lots of water). she could also hike camelback..or atleast try. there is so much to do..hope that gives you some ideas. take care

Maybe she could rent a car and visit the Grand Canyon. That'd be pretty cool. Or maybe some place you enjoy going to, a store...idk...good luck either way. :)
