I'm going to be taking a plane trip to Arizona does anyone know how old you have to be to rent a car? |

Others Generally, you need to be 25 to rent a car. However, call different companies and if you're not old enough, ask them if they know of a company that will rent to you. You can also look them up online and it will say how old you need to be, but sometimes you can get them to refer you to some place that will work for you if you're actually talking to a live person on the phone. Sometimes there are ways you can get around the limitations, too: I rented a truck (in Phoenix AZ) when I was 18 (that was years and years ago), but my dad had to co-sign for it. You always have to have a credit card, though. personal experience. um i think its 25 something about that being a responsible age well i know thats the way it is in most places and you have to have a credit card too! Usually at least 21, but some places want you to be 25. You also need to have insurance or buy the insurance from the rental agency and it is expensive. most probably 22 will be a ideal age usually 25, but some companies do rent to 21 and over. |
