Travel Info Im going to Lake Havasu , arizona california........ any advice? Travel Tips If you are going to Lake Havasu during Memorial Day weekend, make sure you have a place to stay already, because it is crazy busy there this weekend. The busiest weekend of all year up there. Make sure you have sunblock of course, but actually since it is a lake to be with some people who have a boat is not a bad idea at all. It is a beautiful lake and this coming weekend is so much fun. I have spent the last 3 years Memorial Days there and it is a total blast. If you do not have a boat or friends that have a boat, then hang around the downtown area at the canal and I am sure you will find some people who would love to share their boat with you :) Others Wear sunblock because it's hot as heck out there.. rent wave runners - last year we went thru 1-928-854-2009 - don't know if still in business located by the london bridge - they said they were gonna start renting atvs too Take a lot of beer, and water. You probably know its like 100-120 degrees there, or more, depending on when you are going. Have fun Oh yeah... SPF 2,000 sunscreen. |
