The only domes I can think of would be the biosphere2 which was a project about 50 miles outside of Casa Grande where the inhabitants were to live off the ecosystem. It failed due to lack of oxygen supply and food among other reasons but not due to fire and the people certainly were not trapped inside. They did live inside of their own free will for the experiment's sake. I think you have fallen victim to rumor. |
