Keep in mind that most places you will be passing through will be less than $3.50 a gallon (unless you insist on only that premium stuff). Phoenix right now for regular unleaded is $3/gallon. It is rarely cheaper to fly than drive but since 2100 miles is a long way (good 2 days drive and at least one night hotel stop - each way) there are other factors that could make it worthwhile. |
