But your more likely to find rent about 600 a month.

Try Craigslist.org to get an idea of rent in the area.

This is an oxymoron. There are good apartment and there are cheap apartments. On average apartments are around $700/month if you want something decent.
The lowest is $663 a month no utilities. Try New Mexico.
