Why is there so much negativity about Phoenix, Arizona? |
Travel Info Is it really that bad? Would you choose to live in Phoenix or Seattle? Travel Tips Honestly, I think it depends on the time of year you ask people. In the summer, people become more easily annoyed about everything because they hate the heat. But come winter, everyone is so happy they live here and taunt those that suffer through the cold. I believe either city would be a great choice to live in as they both have expanding economies and thus, growing cities and suburbs. Each place has good and the bad but ultimately, you have to find which suits your family best. Source(s): Personal experience And lookup "heat aggravation" http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1... Other Travel Tips People think Phoenix and they think hot, desolate desert. I love it there actually. My mom lives near there and I dont see a problem with it. I hate when people speak negatively about it too. :) Personal experience Seattle would far surpass living in Phoenix. This is a fact. Neither! Seattle is cool to the unknowing, but Seattles traffic sucks Rocks! Really, if you are going to move, try Portland! Similar to Seattle but funkier. Not too big, Not too small. No more Ghetto anymore as all the old houses are being fixed up and are becoming nice neighborhoods. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/portland,_o... for pictures see this, Keep hitting the "previous" button right above the picture for many many more pictures.. http://www.portlandground.com/ |
