Chase Field (formally known as B.O.B.)?? |
Travel Info I'm taking my 4 month old to see the d-backs/sox game on saturday but don't have a seat for her. I want to know if I can bring her car seat in with us or if I have to hold her. Anyone know?? Is there enough room to put her car seat on the floor in front of me? Travel Tips Since you don't have a seat, I would not recommend putting her on the ground as there's usually not enough room. If you can't get a sitter, spend your time away from your seat and head out to D. Baxter's Playhouse behind the center field scoreboard. There may not be much playing that she can do but there certainly are benches for you to sit with her. Source(s): http://arizona.diamondbacks.mlb.com/ari/... Other Travel Tips I would recommend that you get a sitter for your daughter. With all of the shouting and everything else that will be going on, you will end up with a crying baby for most of the game, plus the restrooms are not very sanitary in a ball stadium, so changing her will be difficult to say the least. You will be standing in very long lines just to change her, and when you can finally lay her down on a changing table, you will need to clean the table first. On another note, most stadiums will not permit you to bring in a car seat unless you have purchased a ticket for the seat; if they let you bring it in at all. Plus, there is a serious danger with the car seat if you were to sit it down in front of you. You run the risk of having someone step on her, or kicking her. If you sit in the right area you will have seats around you to spread out. You can buy a ticket anywhere and sit basically wherever you want. I don't think there would be enough room to have her in front of you (or even next to you), they won't let you have anything in the aisles (so an end seat would be out also). I agree with the setiment of getting a sitter. They are loud, people yelling, she might get kicked or hit, lots of things can happen. So either she will need a seat of her own or don't bring her until she is a little older. Have fun at the game though! There is not enough room for a car seat in front of you and unless you are lucky and the seat next to you is empty you wll have to hold her. You will also not be able to enjoy the game much if you do take her. |
