Horseback riding in Arizona? HELP!!!!!?

we're gonna go to Nevada and Arizona this summer, and I really wanna go horseback riding, maybe we'll stay on a ranch but dad is not really determined about that yet, so maybe you know some good place where you can just rent a horse for a few hours or make a trip with a group????????
any experience or suggestion?

There are numerous stables in Phoenix and Tucson where you can take a horseback riding tour. You also might want to try a hot air balloon ride, those can be a lot of fun.

You didn't say what part of AZ you would be in. There is horseback riding everywhere. Here is where I go that is close to Phoenix.

You can also check www.azcentral.com or www.arizona.com. The first is the local newspaper website for Arizona and the other, I believe, is the visitors bureau, which can put you in touch with different things to do all over the state.
Due to the heat locally I suggest you consider doing your AZ riding in Prescott. About an hour and a half drive (95 miles) northeast of Phoenix. Several (4-5) very good ranches in that area who do offer horseback riding daily.
