Travel Tips My bills: $600 apartment rental (in decent area 1bdrm) $100 utilities $35 Internet $50 Satellite $100 Car insurance (thats about what mine is I dont know about yours) ________ $885 Doesnt include gas, grocerys or any extras. Others I DON'T THINK SO COME ON A MONTH you could probably get away with it. if you find a studio/ one bedroom for $400-$550 a month. It won't be in the best area. I'm not sure what your other bills are looking like, but I think you could get away with it. Depends, are you one of those that insists on having everything that comes across TV even though it is beyond your means? You can easily survive and have a few extras on $1300 but not go out every night. I supported myself and a child on that amount for for years but with no frills. After taxes I bring home 1600 to 2000 a mounth and I do ok. My rent is hi. But I will be moving soon. You just have to live life humble and pray for the lords mercys. You really can live a nice life here. Sure. There are still some apartments left that run 450-600.00 a month, utilities or at least partial utilities included. However, they are not in the most desirable parts of town. If you have a car, gas can be expensive-over 3.00 a gallon right now- Phoenix is really spread out, so you'd want a place closest to where you live to minimize your commute and save money. If you don't have a car, the bus system is ok. We have lines all over the central phx area and into the east valley and it's only about 1.50 a ride or like 30.00 for a monthly pass. You could but good luck eating or living in a good area. |
