Moving to Texas Now!!!!?

Can someone please tell me some great Texas cities to live in. I am use to living in the suburbs, non ghetto areas. The cities that i am interested in is Longview, Forth Worth, and Dallas. I want to move to a place where there are lots of jobs, and easy to find. I have never had my own apartment before. My boyfriend and I are going to be moving soon, and we are looking around at different states to see which is better. I was even considering Arizona, but its to much drama with that state. So i think the best place would be Texas. Well i am open to any suggestions about Texas.

Dallas will have good job opportunities if you don't mind the commute. Fort Worth has lots of opportunities as well and it is a nice town. Dallas does have some ghetto areas but you need to make sure to research where you will live carefully.
Have you thought about the weather problems down there? Heat, tornadoes, hurricanes, and currently, major, dangerous flooding.
Check all that out as a part of your research.

Move to Dallas!! I have lived here 13 years so far and its been fun. Alot of opportunity here, jobs MAJOR shopping and great places to eat. Alot to do in the city like museums, places to go dancing...so many ethnicities, very cultured.....

Now I am moving on to Phoenix...its like a smaller Dallas with scenery! :) Hope this helps! I hope it all works out for you!
