I used to live in Avondale, everything North of the I-10 freeway is nice and growing fast. You can have some nice communities south of the I-10, but you have to go out as far as Estrella Mountain Parkway. South of the I-10 near Avondale and Tolleson, there's the train tracks, warehouses (Semi truck Traffic), waste water treatment plant and a few small ghettos (Tolleson, Cashion and South Avondale).

Goodyear is a little farther from the "WEST SIDE". There's plans for a big mall to.

My in-laws do, I'm there almost every weekend. Nice area. Growing like crazy- lots of housing, shops and restaurants. Located in the Southwest valley, getting expensive. Houses are starting in the 300000.00 and up.
eww!! i hate avondale and good year.. they are the hottest area in Phoenix and are one of the most boring! Basicly you'll see is farms,traffic and devolpers driving u crazy!!
