Travel Info just two weeks ago i went to glendale arizona to live on my own i had the worst experience of my life. Anyways, i am now back in maryland now. Can someone please tell me the best place to move in Arizona. I want to live in Northern Arizona. I am use to living in the suburbs, nice neighbors, and nice neighborhoods. Please tell me the best place to live and where they have good paying jobs. I am 23years old and my boyfriend is 22 and we are looking to settle down together, and i am trying to give arizona and second chance. I am looking for a place that is good for young people but at the same time, nice place to raise a family. Travel Tips Unless you or your boyfriend are engineers, I don't know of too many good paying jobs in Northern Arizona, especially in Flagstaff where the mass of students guarantees employers can keep unskilled or basic skill labor at low pay. The only industries I know of in those areas employ engineers and highly skilled labor. In the Valley, for suburbs and better neighborhoods, you would have to look to the East Valley or Ahwatukee. There can be some nice neighborhoods tucked away in Central and West Phoenix (where Glendale is) but for the most part they are not good areas. Others You might want to consider Flagstaff which is about two and a half hours north of Phoenix. It's cooler than Phoenix in the summer and has a small town atmosphere. A great place for the kids. Jim J go to http://apartmentsratings.com you can do a search by city and see what people that lived somewhere say about any place in any state. flagstaff is nice but very expensive due to it is a college town.... if you go west from there to kingman or bullhead city you will find that the cost of living is less, but there is a lot more jobs available... .... that is where i personally live.... good luck.... sorry to hear about your bad experience in glendale.... it is rather a **** hole now a days there.... |
