I'm going to sedona?

my nephews getting married in september and i cannot find a room. where shall i stay that will be close enough and not too pricey. $100 per night or less?

Its hard to find something cheap in Sedona.
It depends on how far you are willing to drive, but the road from Flagstaff to Sedona is very scenic and there are lots of nice chain hotels in that price range in Flagstaff, right near I-40 and 89A which is what you take to Sedona from Flag.. Just one problem, if it is early September, you may have to deal with parents helping their kids move into college, NAU is in Flagstaff. Flagstaff is 29 miles away per Yahoo maps, however, it is a mountain road and will take you probably an hour. However, another place to search for hotels would be in Cottonwood, its 20 miles southwest of Sedona and is a cute little town. I have never stayed there overnight, but have taken the Verde Valley train ride.
One more suggestion, try www.hotels.com. They have several hotels in Sedona for $109 and even one for $79 on September 15th. Not knowing your travel dates, its a date I just arbitrarily picked. Good luck!
Lived in Arizona and travelled Arizona for over 35 years. Regularly vacation in the Flagstaff area. Also checked Yahoo Maps for mileage.
I agree with the other answerer, try getting a room in Cottonwood, you will save money and get a better idea how real Arizonians live, and not the people you get in Sedona.
