Why would you avoid it? Prescott is all in what you make it, as for any town you live in. I lived there for 8 yrs. 115 degrees no way, yeah in Phoenix, but not in Prescott. It's hits the upper 90s there and always has a breeze. In Prescott you have the mountains, small lakes, flat land, bars, shopping, schools. It has everything all other towns have. Depending on the type of social life you want it's there bad or good. I'd move back to Prescott in a flash if I didn't have obligations here in the Phoenix Metro area.
