Why did the guys in Mexico like me so much? |
Travel Info I know that Mexicans just might express themselves more when it comes to women but It was crazy how crazy the guys were about me when I went to Mexico this winter. Everywhere i went the guys would stare at me like they were in awe, trip over themselves and try to talk to me. At the zoo the parrot holders would kiss their parrots and look at me when I walked by. The bellhop told me he loved me, and alot of guys were extreemly sweet and gave me amazing compliments. Some girls wanted to know where i was from. I am 16 yrs old and 4' 11'' (though they all seemed to think I was older). I'm slim and have a pretty good figure. also I'm very white and have Red hair. I just loved that they liked me so much even when I was wearing no makeup and when I was looking stupid w/ messed up dirty hair. But mainly why the HUGe difference between Mexican Guys LOVING me and american guys not very much- up here i feel plain and normal, down there I fellt like the most beutiful girl in the world :) Travel Tips Did you flash them?. That usually makes people like you better, especially if you are sexy and not fat. Others It's not you, they do that for all the girls. they want green cards and green backs. 1 they compliment many of the girls. 2 being very white with red hair makes you stand out. they don't see that many very white people, and they don't see that many red haired people. 3 from your description I don't doubt that you get looks wherever you go. They are so different are'nt they? guys over there express their feelings more clearly and openly when they look at a girl. It feels a little weird though doesnt it, like if you cant walk a couple blocks without having someone's eyes following you. Please understand that they do that to ALL the foreign girls. I have lived in Mexico for 3 years now....and I have learned to block it out. They are giving you this attention for a number of reasons. 1. You are truly pretty and they want to compliment you 2. They "appreciate" the fact that you are foreign....and want to get down your pants. We have a terrible, easy reputation here....if you already didn't know that. 3. They want to use you for a good time and/or money. 4. They are hoping to hook up with you to get out of the country. 5. They are nice guys who want to meet new people. 6. They want to party. So.....not ALL men are sleazy....just like ALL men are not genuine. The thing you need to do is separate the two and only give genuine guys attention. they probably thought you were easy, like every other American teen girl. |
