'w' and 'c' are silent, I believe.. The first person, Blur, is correct. I've been there a few times, Wroclaw that is, and it is a great city. the first person was correct - vrots - waf, empasis on the "vrots". it is a gorgeous city. i wish i was there now ... Vrots waav - W's are prounounced as v's Seriously! - This is how my Polish born husband pronounces it and he is from a town in Wroclaw. And!!! We were just there a couple of weeks ago! Lovely city. The "w" is pronounced like a "v" in English and the "l" is pronounced like a "w" in English. So, with that: Vr(roll it a bit)oh-tswahv. |
