Is there any English book on the Polish Uprising of 1830? |
Travel Info Aside from a few internet sites giving a general overview of the revolt, I cant locate even one book in English on the subject. Plenty of them in Polish though... Travel Tips Well, it is perhaps due to the fact that the November 1830 Uprising was really a minor event in world history. I am afraid, there are no books in English on this one specific subject, but perhaps you could try Norman Davies's "God's Playground - A History of Poland", in which there's bound to be at least a separate chapter on the subject Others go to amazon and try on search |
