What's the weather like in Poland during May??? |
Travel Info I'm going to Krakow mid May so I wanna know if the weather is okay or if it's cold. Travel Tips Usually in Krakow the weather is great in May. It is just right wheater for that kind of town. You do not need to dress to heavy but just right to visit the whole town and feel great. And at night the it is relaxing wheater and how you want it to be at night. Hope you have fun there! Great city! Others Hi! I was last in Poland in May in 1989, but at that time the weather was very warm and sunny, although in neighboring Germany it was still chilly. I remember being there in Warsaw for the 1st of May holiday celebration, so theoretically it should be even warmer come mid-May. On the other hand, if you are going to some mountain area such as Zakopane, it could be somewhat cooler there, but when I was there (during the same trip), there was no snow on the ground although it is a ski area. Take a light jacket just in case, as global warming doesn麓t always mean a higher temperature, but rather more unpredictability. Personal experience. May Avg Low: 47掳 Avg Hi: 67掳 Avg Precip: 1.35 in It is 'okay', i.e. warm or even hot (cooler in the evening / at night, obviously) - take a waterproof jacket though, there might be storms. experience I'm living in Gdansk (Poland). Right now it's beautiful weather, without any clouds, it's 'bout 18C hot. May is often sunny in Poland. I'll be in Cracow in the beginning of the May as well, hope the weather will be still like now. |
