Anyone know from experience what rolling tobacco is available in Poland and where best to buy it? |
Travel Info Thinking of taking a weekend break in Krakow in Poland and would like to bring back some tobacco as I've heard it's very cheap there. I know there is a limit of 3Kg but would only want to buy if it is a brand I am familiar with. Anyone know what is sold there? Where best places to buy are? Travel Tips You can buy hand rolling tobacco in shops, kiosks and supermarkets. You won't find Golden Virginia or Old Holborn. I am English, living in Poland I smoked golden Virginia for 35 years till i moved to Poland a few years back. Now I'm rolling up Huzar 拢1 for 40 g it's a lot stronger than the English brands but its OK when you get used to it. Ciggie papers are "mascotte" just as good as rizla swan or job. Best of the tailor made ciggies are "Golden American" 拢1 for 20 Have a good trip! Others Poland is very similar to Germany and you can buy it at a gas station. The older men in Europe prefer to roll their own cigaretts, so anywhere you can buy cigaretts you buy rolling tobacco and papers. You can pretty much buy it anywhere, but the cheapest would be early mornings at your local flea markets. They are usually cheaper there and you can ask for the best quality tobacco they have. There are all brands available in poland - marlboro , lucky strike , camel and many more all abaut 1拢 |
