Travel Info I want to buy a dog in Poland and bring it to the UK. I am very confused as to the requirments I need to do this? Is it obtain a pet passport or would the dog have to go into qauritine for 6months. Thanks Travel Tips you have to have the passport, but the dog must have rabies vaccinations 6 months before, then it can come straight in. it must also be chipped, de wormed and ticked. this must be done by a vet. check out www.defra.co.uk or .com i'm not sure which one exactly. Many puppies are sold way too young (before 8 weeks) resulting in disease, death, and malnutrition. If you get a puppy in poland and it turns out there is a terrible disease with the dog you can not return it nor can you sue them as you will be all the way in the UK. whats wrong with UK dogs?? a polish dog wont be able to understand us!! Why on earth do you want a dog from Poland?Take a look round the animal sanctuaries,There must be a dog their that you will like that needs a home.
