How can brits buy land in poland without permission from polish gvnmnt?Thanks for any advice? |
Travel Info I have a residency card, I have a Polish wife, does this make a difference? Travel Tips My wife is Polish and I have a 5 year residency card. You need to really trust your wife as the land must initially go in her name. You can buy a house or flat in your own name but not a large parcel of land. We bought 20 acres of farm land and run down buildings and set about doing them up 2 and a half years ago. On a positive note the EU give you money each year for owning the farmland. Be quick the price of land and buildings is going crazy at the moment. I'm from the US and my husband is from Poland. We bought land in Poland in his name. I've got a residency card as well, but everything in Poland is in his name. |
