Travel Tips
Oi! No need to be so bitchy there about a small spelling error! As much theft here as anywhere else. I'm Polish and had the same worries when going to Mexico a month ago. I got so paranoid that I took the crappiest camera and the crappiest mobile phone you could imagine. Well, you can't imagine them - you should have seen them to believe. If I'd left them on a pavement in broad daylight, nobody would have wasted their calories to pick them up. I was the saddest loser in the whole of North America LOL. No, really, the trip was great. I'm telling you this cuz your own fear and paranoia can really spoil the fun of travelling. It's the luck of the draw - cars kill people but we insist on using them. Browse through the ''thorn tree'' section on www.lonelyplanet.com to put your mind at ease - they're Australian and so they're a more relaxed about life. Steer clear of American websites - those are simply hysterical.

Learn to spell before your journey anywhere. Possibly a journey through an English class, and a 3rd grade spelling book will be wonderful for you at this point in your life.
I think traveling alone is the least of your worries.
First of all, please do learn to spell properly. If you are afraid of being robed, which, I presume, you were trying to say, either a) keep your valuables near you at all times, b) don't carry large amounts of cash, c) don't wear flashy jewellery/watch, don't carry expensive equipment etc. Or travel with a friend - it's safer.
Are you travelling to Poland or from Poland? I've lived in both Poland and the Czech Republic, and travelled extensively through most of Europe. If you take proper precautions, theft is a non-issue. Just be as careful as you would in your home country. Don't do anything silly like leave a purse or bag by itself, flash your valuables or money/wallet around, etc. Also, make sure any purse/bag is closed with a zipper and has no open pockets. It's too easy for someone to reach in and grab something. If you carry your bag on your back, have locks on each zipper.

Also, if you stay in hostels, buy a large luggage lock (at any travel store) and you can attach your suitcase/backpack to any bedpost and nobody will be able to take it.

Good luck! I think you'll be fine!
