Find a round ticket to Krakow (maybe through LOT) and there are tons of places you can stay at... hotels and hostels right in the main square (which are not very expensive) and Auschwitz is not that far away from there. You can take the bus or a train to get there (to Oswiecim-where Auschwitz is located at) They organize tours right there, you just sign up for what language and what you want to see. I actually just went there this past summer. Have fun! Krakow is a beautiful place!
