ATTN Polish Speakers: What is the correct pronunciation of 'Kujawa?'? |
Travel Info Kujawa is my last name. I have been told that it is Polish. I've spoken to many Kujawas and they all seem to have different ways of pronouncing it. Travel Tips That would be coo-yah-vah. and just for the record: Polish = English: k = c u = oo j = y a = ah w = v and accent in Polish is (apart from 'borowed' words) always on the penultimate syllable. Others Cooyava - with the accent on the 'ya' just giving a ditto to joanna's asnwer.... always remember - the W is a V :) Joanna is correct. |
