Any ideas for presents??

hi, i am going to poland to visit my friend and i want to get her mother and granmother a present as we are going to visit them for dinner. any ideas for gifts for them. they are aged about 45 and maybe 65. i am from ireland so what do you think?? what would you like from ireland???

Why don't you ask your friend what she thinks they might like or try and find out if there is anything that is difficult to find in the shops in Poland, some little luxury item.
I am Polish and let me tell you, we love good food and good drink. Also, the older set like to collect random knick-knacks. So I think a lovely bottle of wine and perhaps a trinket or a blanket from Ireland would be perfect. And flowers are always nice, but if you think it's overdoing it, then don't. Hope this helps!
Is your friend a boyfriend or girlfriend? Yes, then find a chance to give them a massage when you are into a chat, its free. No, then give them a health tonic or some chinese herbal tea, its exotic.
How about a great bottle of Irish whiskey - or something hand made of lace, like a beautiful handkerchief?
