Yes, but you should go to Tatra Mountains, especially to Zakopane...My friend was there and he said it is awesome. Check this out http://www.krakow-info.com/1tatry.htm... I was there three weeks ago and it was warmer than the UK! Was talking to the locals and they reckon Jan/Feb is the time for snow and they are not expecting a white Xmas! Christmas is mostly white in Krakow snow-clad usually from mid December to mid March. Alps-like Tatra Mountains, or the Tatras (Polish Tatry), is the highest range of the Carpathian Mountains. Two hour鈥檚 drive from Krakow one finds stunning views and pristine nature as well as the best skiing in winter and hiking, rock climbing, cave exploration, cycling, paragliding, etc. through the rest of the year. There is always snow in mountains even in July. Not now. Actually, this is a very weird winter. It is always so, so cold in here, and now we have NOT a day below 10'C !!!!!! |
