Does anyone know of the town named Verashav? |
Travel Info Population? Geographic location? Etc? Also, the town may not exist by that name today, Verashav was the name about one hundred years ago. Travel Tips Warszawa (Warsaw), pronounced "Varshava", has had this name for more than seven hundred years. But the last time you asked that question, you hinted that the town was on the Polish-German border, so it cannot be Warsaw. The name is obviously distorted; my best guesses would be: Warszew (pron. Varshev), and Warszewo (pron. Varshevo). Make your choice. Others ho ho ho..very funny... but actualy, yes. true, old warsaw doesn;t exist... what we have now in heart of Poland is josm eartificial scenography - i guess... Ok..... assuming you are serious (which I doubt): what is the name of the place now and why don't you google it? I don't think it exixts. Polish cities do not start with "V", if it does exists, it's probably in Chech or Slovakia. Re: Witeczek's answer: if it is Warszewo (Varshev / Varshevo), then it would be a district in Szczecin. It is near the Polish western border... However, my bet is on Warszawa, although the transription seems to be seriously warped. |
