Going To Poland In May...? |
Travel Info Hello I am from England and I am visting Auschwitz in Poland on the 24th May 2007. I just wonderd wether the weather is usually Hot or Cold around that time.. As i know whether to take extra clothes to wrap up warm in. If you are from poland whats the weather usually like in May? Tyvm! :D x Travel Tips The weather in Poland is comparable to the weater in the United States' MidWest area; from experience of living in both areas. Winters are cold, summers are hot. As for May itself, expect some rain, expect it to be about 50 Fahrenheit to 85+ Fahrenheit depending on the day, just like your run-of-the-mill May. Unless something extreme is going on, it shouldn't be cold enough to need a winter coat. Pack sweaters, sweatshirts, a windbreaker jacket, as well as light tops, shorts AND long pants. The days vary, it's not like Bermuda or something where you can expect 95 degrees all month. Others Eastern europe right?? hemm should be from +15 to +30 imo as that's usual temprerature in Germany and Russia at that time could be even hotter! should be about 20-27 degrees, and nice weather. polish workmate. The weather in May can be very variable, it can be nice and in the mid 20's but last year May seemed colder than April, get ready for low teens with some drizzly rain showers and possibly some wind, hopefully it will be nice. Auschwitz is in KRAKOW and the weather there is warm so you should dress warm and take some long pants and a jacket if it gets cold at night. I'm from KRAKOW |
