Portland OR - best local place for outdoor family pictures? |
Travel Info I'd like to take the kids to a park or something, with lots of trees (since they are turning), maybe a bridge? Playstructures? Looking for both static shots with scenery, and something active for the kids to be doing. I'm a newbie in town - anybody have a suggestion? Willing to drive up to 45 minutes from Portland. Travel Tips International Rose Test Garden - Washington Park http://www.portlandonline.com/parks/find... Others You don't have to look. There is so much to see here, you can't miss something. The biggest problem is keeping utility poles and wires, etc out of the background. Don't waste time looking, just start enjoying and taking pictures. Also stop and take some along the way. Multnomah Falls , its a great place to visit in oregon, you wont regret seeing the falls, it has food outlets too but not big touristy stuff. Of course all of Oregon is great for photos ( they even have swans) Oregon visits, life. Take them to Mt. Hood So powerful and majestic. It'll take your breath away. There are a lot of parks along the gorge towards the Dalles. Waterfalls are spectacular. One of the most scenic states. I love it! Multmonah falls, even better - horse tail falls on the way to there. the rose gardens are always beautiful, and there are great views of the city and lovely trees up there. |
