What are the best neighborhoods close to Intel in Portland, OR to live? |
Travel Info Looking for friendly neighborhoods with play parks for my kids (toddlers), shopping, community classes for children such as gym classes, swimming, art etc. Thanks! Travel Tips Last I checked, Intel is located on the west side. And Just about any residencial areas in the surroundings are family friendly. ( Not the best for trafficing to the downtown area but very livable ) From Aloha, Cedar Hills, Beaverton to Hillsboro. The schools are good, the area is of newer urban development and well spaced. Parks are abundant and crime is not bad. I especially like Cedar Hills. Very tranquil and yet convenient. If you don't mind the rural areas, Tualatin and Forest Grove is actually country living but it is a little farther west. Others If you are specifically looking to live in Portland, your kids would enjoy Ladd's Addition. I don't live there, but I have a friend who lives there and there are always kids walking up and down the streets, playing together, etc. You also might like living in NW or SW Portland off HWY 26. There is the zoo, washington park, the children's museum, and other fun things for kids nearby. |
