Folks in Portland Oregon...how did you spend your snow day? |
Travel Info If you did in fact have one...My three year old and I played in the snow, ( while it was snowing, it was beautiful!) drank hot chocolate,watched a movie, made a fire...you know- all the lazy "mother nature made us take a day off" things that any other time you might feel guilty for doing. ( or at least all in the same day!) You? Travel Tips I woke up at 7 to go to class, found out at 8 I wouldn't be going,(YES!) slept until 10:00 ( unheard for me!) guzzled two cups of coffee, got the snow gear on and played till about noon. Spent the rest of the day reading, watched Blade Runner, and ate more junk food than I would normally allow myself( which is usually none) In Portland, you rarely get a snow day...you must take advantage of it! And really, sorry about the people who had to go to work. :) Others I lazed about in bed I went to work and read news stories about idiot parents who killed their kids dragging sleds behind trucks. Put chains on and went to work. On the way I watched overconfident SUV drivers slamming into curbs (but luckily nothing else...) At work. |
