Doesn't matter.....there are dogs EVERYWHERE !!!! Portlanders just love their pets and take them all over the place. There also are a number of "doggie parks" around, so the little darlings get to socialize....while doing their business !

i would live out in the SW part of town, where you will have some yard space. downtown, smaller yards.
that or gresham area-lots of big lots where doggies can run around

it's true. pretty much all of portland is pet friendly. we love them animals!
