If you like watching pro sports, Portland isn't your town.

However, if you like beer, Portland is a mecca.
If you like outdoor hobbies, Portland is a hub.

Traffic as is here in Seattle come here it is better lol but if you must Portland is very nice
I liked it. It does rain alot, but usually not all day on any given day. The people are nice and generally better drivers than anywhere in the southern US and politer than any in the eastern US
