Wich are the good areas to live in Portland, Oregon.? |
Travel Info great school district, Travel Tips East side Portland/East Multnomah County. Recommendations: No - Portland Public Yes - Parkrose No - David Douglas No - Reynolds Yes - Centennial These districts are located within the Portland City limits (give or take a mile or two) The others that have been listed are well outside of Portland, though nice suburban schools. Others Lake Oswego is good TIgard Tualatin is good West LInn-Wilsonville is good North Clackamas is still decent on the far Northeast end Portland is good on the West Side, But the district is a sinking ship. Beaverton and Hillsboro and getting way to big. They are overcrowded. Newberg and Sherwood are good, but they are growing pretty quick. Okay well if you have a lot of $ to spend then the Pearl down town is a great place (there lofts) Then if you have $ Alameda ridge is great and has an excellent view of the city....if you like the woods you can live up by the Portland Zoo their are lots of places to go hiking and the Japanese garden is close to there!..i live in NE Portland and i love it here for anyone of these places in general are excellent........have fun in Portland i love it! I would definetly suggest Beaverton-The school district here is pretty nice and definetly puts emphasis on safety. Also, some people are saying Beaverton is getting way overcrowded...What's wrong with more people?!!! well massachusetts has best schools in america it depends though what u want to be when in college. like if your an artist u would go to paris Beaverton has a great school district findley - grade school stoller- middle school westveiw & sunset - highschool Lake Oswego is a good place to live ...expensive tho lived there |
