My partner and i are thinking of taking a vacation in portland,oregon we are lesbians, where should we stay? |
Travel Info we figured we'll stay downtown have no idea the different areas. we are just looking to have a good time. any suggestions are greatly appreciated. we plan on going in late september. I don't think there are places that won't let you visit if you are gay. No one cares. You had to make a point to say you are Gay, what are you looking for, to be a martyr? Just stay out of SoCal and I'LL be fine. You can stay anywhere downtown. Portland is a liberal city that will accept you. What people who have answered you already don't understand is that it's not always safe for gay people to travel, hence you mentioned it. There are some charming B&Bs in Portland, much nicer than staying in a hotel. And they don't care if you're gay. Portland is a gay friendly city. Anywhere you stay will pretty much accept you, now if you want to stay in downtown then most of the hotels in downtown are on broadway. Now if you want a little bit cheaper then downtown but still close to downtown then loyd center area is good and you can take the max train to downtown from loyd center for free wich is about a 10 minute ride to downtown. Plus bring an umbrella cause by the end of September you will start to see rain. |
