Where in Portland is a good place to meet new friends?

I moved here to portland about 2 1/2 weeks ago and i miss my old friends and going out at nite. Keep in mind that i am not quite 21 yet, so i can't hit up the bars.

Try going to Powell's bookstore and hanging out in the coffeeshop, or walking on the park along either side of the Willamette, or checking out what is going on at Pioneer Courthouse Square or the Park Blocks, where there are lots of PSU students. Anywhere around PSU should bring you into contact with people your age.

Portland is a friendly city full of young people, so you shouldn't be lonely long.

Try churches with college age programs. Also, Starbucks. Everyone drinks coffee.
The only thing i can tell you is find the nearest outhouse and see if any of your friends are inside
