Should we drive on I-5 or I-205 south from Washington into Portland?

Travel Info
What is best at around 4-5 p.m. I know traffic will be bad all over but trying to pick the lesser of two evils. Either works for our destination. Thanks.

Travel Tips
I-205 is actually 12 miles longer than I-5 from Washington south, so it generally takes longer. It is 'tighter', and you have to worry about being in the correct lane or it's really an unpleasant drive. If you're comfortable with traffic in Seattle at rush hour, then I'd take the 5, if not, take 205.

For my part, I'd find a good restaurant in Longview or Woodland for dinner, then hit Portland an hour later and take the I-5 south.
Others
I preferr 205, I dont like 1-5, just isnt a comfortable flow and feels alot tighter than 205.
I would pick 205 also. I-5 is not fun.
I would take the Marine Dr. South exit, then cut over the bridge and hit HWY 30 which will bring you up to German town rd. and drops you on HWY 26 and bypasses both I-5 and 205
